How did you fit the akebonos? Did you have to shave some of the caliper off? Heard 18” rpf1’s don’t fit with bbk because of the wheel shape.

Kinda depends on the AR…I’m predicting mid 5’s low 6’s. He’s got bolt ons and turbo. He should be close to 100% displacement.

I remember a while back on IG you said you switch from Brembos to akebonos brakes saying it was a “upgrade” when it’s not. Let me explain. You switch to Akebono because they look bigger not because they perform better. They the same thing. Akebono is just a cheaper version. Nissan cheap out on 370z and q50s. If they was “better” why didn’t the r35 GtR come with Akebonos… Also, the brembos weight less if you actually cares about weight reduction and have the same effect. Just saying
i actually have a buddy and tested both of them on his 350z. Akebonos felt much better than the brembos as he said
